This mural has a very special place in our hearts – it’s our first commissioned piece since arriving back in Perth in 2020! The City of Melville put a call-out for a large-scale mural, to serve as both a point of interest locally, and as a deterrent for graffiti. We submitted this impacting design, which features some truly spectacular Strelitzia and jungle flora, and it was a hit with both council and the building’s owner, who adored its vibrancy. Situated on the corner of Stock Road and Leach Highway in Melville – one of the area’s busiest intersections – it’s since become something of a local landmark, popular both with motorists and passing foot traffic. And yes, we did consume a LOT of sausage rolls during the making of this epic mural. Thanks Aunty Barb!
