This job was an absolute beast – and we loved every second of it! In late 2019 JLL approached us to collaborate with them on the extensive refurbishment of ANZ’s Dorcas Street, South Melbourne property. The project, which was executed over several months during Melbourne’s 2020 COVID-19 lockdown, involved the design and execution of site-specific murals, over four huge floors. We were tasked with designing colour palettes for separate levels and putting our stamp on everything from pillars to window sticker decals, plus office booth installations designed to illustrate each of ANZ’s global call centre locations. We even painted their staff lockers! The work was executed using a variety of media, including aerosol, acrylic – even old-fashioned pen and ink – and took almost six months to complete. Thankfully we had a great team working with us, and the project was executed seamlessly, despite the fact a global Pandemic was raging around us.
