Sometimes you just need a giant floating jellyfish on your back wall! And that’s exactly what our lovely inner-city Melbourne clients got when they approached us to design a two-storey mural for their garage, which backs onto a secluded laneway. This out-of-the-way spot is a meeting spot for neighbours, whose kids converge in the lane to play, hang out and get up to mischief. It’s a hang-out spot for their parents too, who regularly catch up on a Friday evening for a post-work wine and a chat. Our clients wanted their mural to be a gift of sorts to their friends from the lane. They had no stipulations, other than that they wanted the piece to be fun, friendly and beautiful to look at. We think we delivered! We adored working on this project and are pleased to say we are now considered honorary Laneway members!
