One of Melbourne’s most popular dining establishments, Rice Queen Oriental Diner & Bar is a veritable Fitzroy institution. When they decided to refresh their interiors during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020, they called on us to execute a large 12 metre mural to run along one length of their building. Thankfully, construction remained open, and Steve was able to complete the epic piece on-site without any constraints. It’s been a hit with diners and is regularly used by Rice Queen in their social media posts and for advertisements. If you’re in Melbourne, head down and check it out.
